Scavenger Hunt

• Improving Instruction in Geometry and Measurement - $25.95 I would order this because I have a difficult time understanding geometry and this will help me teach the subject better to my students.
• Windows on Teaching Math - $25.95 I would buy this book because it has student responses on how they get confused with some of the math concepts. If I see what a student is thinking, I'll be able to hopefully make it easier on them.
• Markers - $34.95 I would buy markers because every classroom needs markers so that the students do not need to buy their own.

Question: Explore the assistive technology available on the laptops that Dr. Theresa will have. List three things you can do to help students with disabilities using the Mac.

• I can set the computer up to have sticky keys so that those students who have a difficult time typing.
• There is also the zoom technology for those students who have visual impairments.
• There is a speaking ability on the computer that allows those students with visual impairments to mouse over the words and have the computer speak them.
